Lala’s Journey, the book
Over five chapters, we follow Lala’s story as she learns to explore and thrive in her new home, after a refugee journey. Kids identify with Lala’s experiences and can learn stabilization activities that help after challenging situations. (Lala has proven relatable to kids from refugee and non-refugee backgrounds.)

Facilitator Guide
The Facilitator Guide has easy-to-use instructions for all five 90-minute lessons, one for each chapter of the book. These sessions give kids the chance to engage with and practice the emotional skills Lala models in the book. Because of the subject matter of the Lala’s Journey curriculum, taking the training is required before using the Facilitator Guide. The Guide is currently available in English, Finnish, and German. Additional translations may be available upon request.
Training
Train to become a provider of “first aid for the soul.” Online or in-person, your training will help you create safe spaces for support. Completing the course is a pre-requisite to receiving the Facilitator Guide. Training is currently available in English and German. Live, translated trainings into other languages will be scheduled on demand as soon as possible.
