What’s Included?
Book
Over five chapters, we follow Lala’s story as she learns to explore and thrive in her new home, after a refugee journey. Kids learn from Lala how they can help themselves find emotional balance after challenging situations. They will discover and practice the keys to their resilience. Kids from many backgrounds can learn from Lala’s Journey.
Facilitator’s Guide
The easy-to-use curriculum has five 90-minute lessons, one for each chapter of the book. Kids get the chance to try out the emotional skills which Lala models in the book.
Training
Equip yourself and your team with online or in-person training. You’ll get an orientation to trauma-informed care and how to design a place in which kids are safe to grow.
